María José was born in Chile. She moved to California when she was 13 and has lived in the Bay are since then. She is currently taking early childhood classes to add to the ones that she already has. She has worked with children for 9 years, working from preschool to school age. She worked at the Antwerp International School in the preschool classes for 6 months. She loves working with kids because she believes early education is a very important in a child’s life and teaching in her mother tongue is very rewarding. She is very happy to be part of the growing EBI community.
