What grades are you enrolling for 2009-2010?
A
We are enrolling pre-primary, kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade.

What are the minimum age requirements?
A
Pre-primary - 3 years old as of September 1st
Kindergarten - 5 years old as of September 1st
1st Grade - 6 years old as of September 1st

Does my child need to speak Spanish to apply?
A
We do not require children entering preschool or kindergarten to be able to speak Spanish. Students entering 1st grade with no Spanish background will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students entering in 2nd or higher grades will need to have substantial Spanish language skills.

What is the school schedule for 2008-2009?
A
The school day for all grades including pre-primary will be 8:30 – 3:00.
Extended day packages will be available 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Is there financial aid?
A
We are committed to socio-economic diversity and offer need-based Financial Aid. Admission decisions are made independently of financial aid decisions. EBI uses the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) from the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) to do a standardized calculation to determine need.
