Applications for the 2011-2012 school year are due on January 14, 2011 and will be available on October 1, 2010.

What grades are you enrolling for 2011-2012?
A
We are enrolling pre-primary, kindergarten, and first through fifth grades.

What are the minimum age requirements?
A
Pre-primary - 3 years old as of September 1, 2011
Kindergarten - 5 years old as of September 1, 2011

Does my child need to speak Spanish to apply?
A
We do not require children entering preschool or kindergarten to be able to speak Spanish. Students entering 1st grade with no Spanish background will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students entering in 2nd or higher grades will need to have substantial Spanish language skills.

What is the school schedule for 2011-2012?
A
The school day for all grades including pre-primary is 8:30am – 3:00pm.
Extended day packages will be available 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Is there financial aid?
A
We are committed to socio-economic diversity and offer need-based Financial Aid. Admission decisions are made independently of financial aid decisions. EBI uses the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) from the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) to do a standardized calculation to determine need. Yes! Come to a parent information session where current parents will be available to answer your questions, attend a parent-led school tour during school hours, or read parent reviews about EBI on an independent non-profit website.
