Pre-Kinder Recycle
Pre-Kinder Azul and Rojo went on a field trip to the Berkeley Recycling Center to launch their third unit of inquiry entitled: "Planet Earth Is our Mother". This unit engages students in inquiry and reflection on our responsibility as humans to reduce, reuse and recycle.
The field trip gave students the opportunity to see and learn about the various ways that humans can reduce the amount of landfill waste we generate by recycling daily.

No Bully Workshop for EBI Families!
Over 35 parents, faculty, staff and board members came together to learn more about continuing to create a safer environment for all of our children at EBI. A consultant from No Bully, an anti-bullying organization based in San Francisco, joined our community to share her expertise.

Diversity Workshop for EBI's Board of Trustees
Diversity is one of the EBI core values. Developing a space and environment that promote respect, appreciation and coming to value the variety of experiences of our students, families and personnel helps us create a culture in which everyone feels safe and free to fully participate in and contribute to the learning process. In the picture, the EBI Board of Trustees participates in one of three diversity workshops they will take this year.
