Pre-Primary

Our Pre-Primary program follows the International Baccalaureaute Organizational (IBO) Primary Years Program that focuses on the development of the whole child and is based on the following principles:

  • Play-based
  • Inquiry-driven: Student's interests help shape learning
  • Structured around themes
  • Designed to support varied learning styles
  • Strong emphasis on creativity
  • Integrated music and art component
  • Diverse students and staff reinforce diversity and cultural understanding that is both experienced and taught in the classroom

Pre-Primary is 100% Spanish.  Students who enter with no Spanish language are supported as needed during their transition to Spanish.  We have found that there is a very fast learning period for both 3- and 4-year-olds.

EBI has two levels of Pre-Primary to support language development.

Pre-K:  3-year-olds

One class 8:30 – 3:00

Mid-K:  4-year-olds
