Community Programs

Our community is a busy, fun and educational environment before, during, and after the school day. EBI students and non-EBI students, from around the Bay area, have the opportunity to participate in an array of extracurricular programs at EBI that enrich their lives and support them in exploring their own personal interests. Summer Enrichment Classes Online

This summer 2020, EBI is offering a variety of amazing synchronous, Spanish immersion and Bilingual classes, that provides an opportunities for EBI and non-EBI students from PK - 8th to interact in a real time in a safe environment and to engage in structured choice virtual activities that encourage them to explore their own creativity and interests:

Online Group Classes: Mi Familia y Yo, Summer Spanish Storytelling, Fun Environmental Science, Gamer Guild and Bilingual Songwriting.

Online Spanish Language Academy: ¡Mi Verano En Español! Beginner and Advanced Levels.

Online Private Lessons: Piano, Guitar and Ukulele.

After-School Spanish Language Immersion Program

EBI's After-School Spanish Language Immersion Program is specifically designed for non-EBI students and schools that wish to offer a Spanish language immersion program.

Fall Session: September 3 - November  7
Winter Session: December 3 - February  20
Spring Session: March 3 - May 14

Each session is a 10-week program held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. This cost is $550 for one 10-week session or $1600 for all three 10-week sessions.

Our after-school full-immersion Spanish language classes build confidence, motivate students and enhance their language skills. They have two different sections and levels, and children are grouped together by their level of Spanish comprehension. Upper level students learn written Spanish as well. Each class incorporates art, storytelling, games,music and multimedia activities.

Please note:

  • EBI will provide snacks.
  • Parking for these classes is located in our parking lot on the left side of the church located next to the school.
  • The instructors will email the class details to all of the families the week before the first day of class of each session. If you do not receive this communication, please contact us at programs@ebinternacional.org.




School Year Camps

EBI's school year camps are filled with fun and exciting activities in Spanish!

Our school year camps are carefully designed with the interests and developmental needs of our campers. The theme of each camp is different, but they all include an array of activities such as storytelling, arts, crafts, culinary arts, games, sports and field trips. Plus, they provide EBI and non-EBI students the opportunity to meet new friends!

Our 2019-20 School Year Camps for Pre-K to 4th Grade!

Each camp is packed with fun for every camper and incorporates art, sports, and plenty of outdoor play. At EBI, campers learn Spanish through experience!

Day of the Dead

Through storytelling, craft art, cooking and games, campers will explore the history and tradition of the holiday and how it is celebrated across different Latin American cultures.

Kids Night Out

Calling all pre-kinder and lower school students! Come in your pajamas and join us for a fun night of games, snacks and a movie in Spanish! Kids Night Out is open to EBI and non-EBI students!

When: 6-9 p.m. every first Friday of the month!

Our Aventura after-school program is not included in the price of Kids Night Out. To use our Aventura drop-in or pre-paid care, you must be an EBI student and pre-registered in the Aventura program. Drop-in Aventura students must also give 24 hours advance notice to request a space in the program for that given day.

Free Spanish Storytime

Virtually join us for a morning of stories, songs and fun! Our FREE Spanish Storytime is perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. It is open to Spanish and non-Spanish speakers.

Erica Castro
Directora de programas comunitarios

Erica nació en Oakland y creció en El Salvador, donde obtuvo una licenciatura en Trabajo Social y una certificación en Educación para la Paz. Desarrolló un amplio conocimiento y experiencia en educación integral mientras trabajaba en programas comunitarios para el desarrollo juvenil durante 16 años en El Salvador. Comenzó en EBI en el verano de 2016 después de su regreso a California con su esposo Gustavo. En su tiempo libre, le encanta cocinar, acampar y pasar tiempo con su familia. Su pasión es contribuir al desarrollo de todo el estudiante a partir de los programas comunitarios
