Our community is a busy, fun and educational environment before, during, and after the school day. EBI students and non-EBI students, from around the Bay area, have the opportunity to participate in an array of extracurricular programs at EBI that enrich their lives and support them in exploring their own personal interests. Enrichment Classes Online
Spring 2021
This Spring 2021, EBI is offering a variety of amazing synchronous, Spanish immersion and Bilingual classes, that provide opportunities for students from PK - 8th to interact in real time in a safe environment, and to engage in structured virtual activities that encourage them to explore their own creativity and interests. Our EBI synchronous Enrichment Classes are open for EBI and non-EBI Students from PK - 8th. Join us for our amazing enrichment opportunities from the comfort of your home! School Year Camps
EBI's school year camps are filled with fun and exciting activities in Spanish!
Our school year camps are carefully designed with the interests and developmental needs of our campers. The theme of each camp is different, but they all include an array of activities such as storytelling, arts, crafts, games and sports. Our school year camps are held during the *EBI school breaks.
Due to the current COVID pandemic, EBI camps are offered to EBI students from PK-2nd grade ONLY, and extended care is not available.
All school year camps are located at our Alcatraz Campus, 410 Alcatraz Avenue, Oakland, CA, 94609

for Pre-K to Grade 2nd!
Spring Camp (Apr. 12 - 16) : Camping Out!
Come and enjoy an adventure camping out. Campers will learn tips about outdoor camping and related activities such as how to put together a tent, forest safety, hiking, respect for wildlife, knots, bonfires, first aid, compass navigation, games and much more!
Online registration closes on Wednesday, April 7th.

Important Information:
Pre-Kinder Camper
- All campers must be fully potty trained
- EBI provides morning and afternoon healthy snacks for PK students
- Lunch it is not provided by EBI
- Sheets and blankets for PK nap time are not provided
Kinder-2nd Grade Campers
- Lunch and snack are not provided by EBI
- Campers must bring their own snack and lunch in a labeled lunch box.

Free Spanish Storytime
Virtually join us for a morning of stories, songs and fun! Our FREE Spanish Storytime is perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. It is open to Spanish and non-Spanish speakers.

Erica Castro
Directora de programas comunitarios
Erica nació en Oakland y creció en El Salvador, donde obtuvo una licenciatura en Trabajo Social y una certificación en Educación para la Paz. Desarrolló un amplio conocimiento y experiencia en educación integral mientras trabajaba en programas comunitarios para el desarrollo juvenil durante 16 años en El Salvador. Comenzó en EBI en el verano de 2016 después de su regreso a California con su esposo Gustavo. En su tiempo libre, le encanta cocinar, acampar y pasar tiempo con su familia. Su pasión es contribuir al desarrollo de todo el estudiante a partir de los programas comunitarios
