EBI families, faculty and staff represent a vast array of personal histories, ethnic traditions and cultural identities. EBI students work with faculty and staff from more than 14 countries each day. This diversity enriches our community in a variety of ways and supports us to become better global citizens, broadening the ways we understand problems and encouraging us to find more culturally comprehensive and appropriate solutions.

When people seek a strong community, they are often willing to commit time and energy into building one themselves. Continuing to build relationships with others in the community is critical to creating a network of support for EBI students. EBI families, faculty and staff organize and attend a number of activities and events throughout the year that support a strong sense of community; some of these include playdates, the Heritage Picnic, the Family Fiesta, parent workshops, Friday Coffees and many more.
