Community Programs

Our community is a busy, fun, and educational environment before, during, and after the school day. Students have the opportunity to participate in an array of extracurricular programs at EBI that enrich their lives and support them in exploring their interests. Aventura Extended Day

EBI Aventura Extended Care is a basic, extended-care program in which teachers plan activities that promote student curiosity, imagination and creativity. EBI Aventura Extended Care offers Early Care from 7:30 a.m. – 8:10 a.m. for PK-Grade 8 students that are currently registered for Aventura 3-Day and 5-Day. After care is offered from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in three options (Aventura 3-Day, Aventura 5-Day and Aventura Drop-In). To confirm the Aventura Extended Care plan that you have enrolled in, you can access your School Forms Online account. Please contact the Registrar’s Office at registrar@ebinternacional.org with any questions about your Aventura Extended Care registration.

Drop-in can now be purchased exclusively through UltraCamp. UltraCamp is the platform that we use for Community Programs such as Summer Camp, School Year Camps, Enrichment, and now Drop-in! Families who have previously used UltraCamp can log into their account. If you are a new user, please click here.  Please note that we will be releasing the monthly drop-in calendar one week before the month starts.

Enrichment Classes

EBI offers a variety of enrichment classes in Spanish and English during the school year that provide students with the oportunity to engage in structured choice activities that encourage them to explore their own creativity and interests. These enrichment classes vary from session to session and expose children to different experiences that help them to discover new talents and skills.

Fall Session: October 10 – January 5 (No classes on Oct. 16-20, Nov. 4, 21-24, 

Winter Session: January 8 – March 15 (No classes February 19-23)

Spring Session: March 25  – May 31 (No classes on April 15 – 19, May 24)

Movie Night

All PK – Grade 8 students are invited to join our monthly Movie Nights! Come in your pajamas and join our EBI staff for a fun night of games, food and a movie in Spanish!

When: Fridays 1/12, 2/9, 3/8, 4/5, 5/3 and 6/7

Time: 6:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m

Where: PK to Grade 1 at Alcatraz campus and Grades 2 – 8 at San Pablo campus.

Movie Nights are for EBI students only.

School Year Camps

EBI’s school year camps are filled with fun and exciting activities in Spanish!

Our school year camps are carefully designed with the interests and developmental needs of our PK- Grade 3 campers. The theme of each camp is different, but they all include an array of activities such as storytelling, arts, crafts, culinary arts, sports, and plenty of outdoor play. Each camp is packed with fun for every camper! (School Year Camps are offered to EBI students ONLY.)

Pre-Kinder Campers

  • All campers must be fully potty trained
  • EBI provides morning and afternoon healthy snacks for PK students
  • Lunch it is not provided by EBI. Campersmust bring their lunch in a labeled lunch box. Lunch service from Flo’s Friendly Food is available during EBI school year camps.
  • Sheets and blankets for PK nap time are not provided

Kinder to Grade 3 Campers

  • Lunch and snack are not provided by EBI. Campers must bring their own snack and lunch in a labeled lunch box.
  • Lunch from Flo’s Friendly Food is available during EBI school year camps.

Cuenta Cuentos: Free Spanish Storytime

Join us for a morning of stories, songs and fun! Our FREE Spanish Storytime is perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. Cuenta Cuentos is offered during the school year, held on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the Alcatraz Campus. This event is open to Spanish and non-Spanish speakers.Please email admission@ebinternacional.org with any questions.

After-School Spanish

EBI is excited to offer a Spanish Immersion After-School class that is specifically tailored for individuals ages 6 to 9 ranging from beginners with limited or no Spanish proficiency to those at an intermediate level, all eager to enhance their language skills and fluency through art, storytelling, games and music. This class will be split into two 8-week Sessions, Winter and Spring.Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m – 5:30 p.m. at the Alcatraz Campus (410 Alcatraz Ave, Oakland)The cost per session is $600.
