Summer Camp Themes:

Each camp session is packed with fun for every camper. Each camp incorporates art, sports, and plenty of outdoor play. At EBI, summer campers learn Spanish through experience! Each session has an overarching theme to guide their explorations.

Pre-Kinder-3rd Grade Themes

Session I (June 26 - July 7): Make a Mess! (No Camp July 4)

By popular demand, expanded session for EBI and Non-EBI campers!

AM Camp: Ooey Gooey- Get your hands dirty as we explore things that are too messy for the classroom! Campers will discover how to make things that are sticky, gooey, gross and they might even make them erupt! They will have a blast while making a mess outside in the sun.

PM Camp: Mad Scientists!- Put on your goggles, because this session campers will become chemists and inventors (of the craziest kind). We will explore silly science throughout history and discover all the right ingredients that make for an awesome camp!

Session II (July 10 - July 21): Imaginarium

AM Camp: Wizarding Camp-Calling all witches and wizards! Campers will don their capes, find their inner magicians and discover the world of magic within their own imagination. Campers will mix potions, write spells and learn some magic tricks to share with friends. (Don't worry, no toads will be harmed in the process!)

PM Camp: Once Upon a Time- Step into a world of fantasy! Campers will learn about mystical stories and creatures of the deep while having the opportunity to conjure some stories and creatures of their own. They will play ancient jousting outside and even learn a thing or two about medieval meals.

Session III (July 24 - August 4): Ancient Worlds

AM Camp: Civilizations of the Americas- During this session campers will explore amazing ancient empires of the Americas. We will examine what the ancient Mayan calendar can tell about the past. We will create our own ancient waterways to farm like the Aztecs and build grand structures like the Incas. Join us as we explore the mysteries of the Americas!

PM Camp: Time Travelers- Get the time machine ready because every other day this session we are visiting a different decade! Campers will learn to dance disco in the 70s, dress for the 50s, and maybe even travel further back to see new inventions of the turn of the century!

Session IV (August 7 - August 18): Hands On!

AM Camp: DIY Makers- Do you know how to sew, cook, plant, or paint? Gear up to share your craft and learn a new one! Campers will learn the steps from start to finish and how to become a maker. By the end, they will have a product of their own, and also have the knowledge to recreate this, or other products, again and again!

PM Camp: Treasure Hunters- Embark on a journey to find hidden treasure! We will use our imagination to travel, by boat, plane, and foot to far away places. Campers will create their own maps, and overcome challenges that test their smarts, strength, and teamwork on this wild adventure. Treasure means different things to different people, what sort of special things will you find?
