EBI's Social and Cultural Norms

Friday, November 16, 2018 - 9:00am to 10:30am
Event Location:
Escuela Bilingüe Internacional (EBI), 410 Alcatraz Ave, Oakland, CA 94609, USA
Downstairs in Cafeteria RSVP herehttps://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/1085939 We are fortunate to have a very diverse community at EBI. The diversity of our families, faculty/staff, and students are pivotal to our achievements. Therefore, we must agree that becoming more aware of our differences increases trust and improves relationships. Most importantly, this awareness improves communication, which is the backbone of our success. We are currently in the process of meeting with all school constituents to identify school-wide, social & cultural norms for our school community. We need your help identifying character traits and school-wide, “unwritten” social and cultural values, we can all get behind applying at EBI. RSVP: Please RSVP by Wednesday, Nov. 14 Questions: Email Karen Velásquez, Director of Equity and Inclusion at kvelasquez@ebinternacional.org
