Summer Camps

Join us at Escuela Bilingüe Internacional (EBI), the Bay Area’s first Spanish-English dual-immersion independent school, for a summer of Spanish language and culture. EBI Summer Camps are open to EBI, and non-EBI students. Campers will explore art, music, science, cooking, movement and dozens of other enriching and dynamic themes in Spanish! EBI’s camp staff will make learning Spanish an engaging and gratifying adventure. EBI’s staff represent many Spanish-speaking countries including: Mexico, Spain, Argentina, El Salvador, Chile, Panama, Peru, Venezuela and the U.S. Each one brings a passion for inspiring young minds to learn. Join us this summer and experience the rich cultures of the Spanish language!


For children ages 3-9

  • No prior Spanish language required for:
    • all PK campers
    • K-3 Session I, II, III and IV
  • Camp activities vary depending on age and camper ability

UPDATE: This summer, camp day schedule will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp activities will remain the same as previous years including: outdoor play, field trips, park visits, special visitors, etc. Please contact us with any questions at

Summer Camp Themes:

Pre - Kinder - 3rd Grade Themes

Each camp session is packed with fun for every camper. Each camp incorporates art, sports, and plenty of outdoor play. At EBI, summer campers learn Spanish through experience! Each session has an overarching theme to guide their explorations.

Session I (June 24 - June 28): Crazy scientists

Campers will become mad scientists and discover how to make sticky, gross textures and that may even erupt! They will have a blast while making a mess outside in the sun!

Session II (July 1 - July 5): Fun in the Sun (No Camp July 4)

Campers will enjoy the sunshine outside, while burning off some energy during outdoor activities, games, sports and art. This is a sure way to make summer count to the very end!

Session III (July 8 - July 12): Travel Around Latin America

Campers will embark on a journey around the Latin American Countries, learning about the most remarkable characteristics of their cultures every day! Our camp will be filled with fun and stimulating activities including art, cooking, sports, games, dances and useful words and phrases in Spanish from each and every place we visit!

Session IV (July 15 - July 19): EBI Sports

Campers will burn off their energy while practicing outdoor and indoor team sports!  Campers will learn the basics of a different team sport each day. During this camp, campers will build teamwork and fair play skills. They will put all this skills into practice having a exciting tournament at the end of every day!

Session V (July 22 - July 26): Chiqui Chef

What's cooking?! Savory tastes and amazing aromas is what will be happening this week! We will explore different foods from appetizers, side dishes, desserts. Come and be a chef for the week!

Session VI (July 29 - August 2): Makers

Do you know how to sew, plant, or paint? Gear up to share your craft and learn a new one! Campers will learn the steps from start to finish and how to become a Maker. By the end, they will have a product of their own, and also have the knowledge to recreate this, or other products, again and again!

Session VII (August 5 - August 9): Top Secret Mission

Campers will embark on top secret mission to save the planet! Each day campers will learn how to take care of the planet being a 3R advocate. Campers will put all their knowledge into practice on their "Secret Mission" that is a social service during our session field trip.
