Preparing a Future Generation of Leaders
At EBI, we want our students to take action on real-world issues and work to bring the world into the classroom. Last week, our 5th graders conducted a video conference in Spanish with students from an IB school in Mexico. Because the students are researching about technology and the socio-economic development of communities in their current unit of inquiry, they wanted to learn more about what happens in other countries around the usage of technology. Not only were our students prepared with questions, but they also proactively shared ideas and thoughts on how and why technology is leveraged in the United States. This was a great example of how our multilingual international program is preparing a future generation of leaders!
