Alvarto is the founder of TrigoFi, an independent financial advisory firm based in the Bay Area, where he works closely with individuals and families to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management. His work focuses on helping clients make thoughtful, long-term decisions across their financial lives.

Prior to founding TrigoFi, Alvaro held roles at Alvarez & Marsal and HSBC Private Bank, where he worked with high-net-worth clients and was part of the founding team of an SEC-registered investment advisory practice.

Originally from Spain, Alvaro holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Les Roches in Switzerland and later built his career in financial services in the UK and United States. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Alvaro lives in Oakland with his husband, Justin, and their son, Santiago, who is a student at EBI. He is an active member of the EBI community and is particularly drawn to the school’s commitment to bilingual education, global perspective, and inclusive environment. He brings strong interest in community building and long-term sustainability to his involvement with the school.
