Escuela Bilingüe Internacional ("EBI") is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any personal information you share with us.  You can visit our website without revealing personal information.  In some cases, however, we may ask for personal information in order to provide the services you request.  Such information will be used by EBI only to conduct official school business and will never be disseminated by EBI to any unaffiliated third party.  All of the information that we collect from you is subject to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.  By using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Terms of Use

This website is intended to provide news and information about EBI.  We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of content.

No part of this site or its contents - including, but not limited to, the school logo - may be copied, reproduced, modified, retransmitted, distributed, published, commercially exploited or otherwise transferred without written permission from EBI.

Information Collection and Use

EBI does not track, collect or distribute personal information about site visitors.  However, we do collect some information about site visits.  We have access to domain names and I.P. addresses of visitors for website security purposes. 

EBI parents are provided access to specific password-protected areas of our website, which contains personally identifiable information shared by parents and families.  Such personally identifiable information includes parent and family names, phone numbers, work numbers, email addresses, home addresses, and any other contact information shared by the parent or family.

Email Privacy and Spam

The website contains email addresses of faculty and staff and (within the password-protected parts of the site) parents at EBI.  Unless you have opted out, EBI may contact you via email to inform you about school announcements, special events, or changes to this Privacy Policy.  Similarly, faculty, staff, parents, and other members of the EBI community who have access to the website and/or password-protected parts of the site, may contact one-another for school-related purposes. 

EBI does not share emails with any third party outside of our organization other than as necessary to protect the school’s right or as required by law.  

Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts or request changes to your information from us at any time.   

You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website.

  • See the type of data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you if you think it is incorrect or incomplete.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Student Privacy

EBI is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and their families.  We do not post the full names of students on the public pages of our website.  Images of students are used on the public pages of the site; however, students are never identified by name in images.  Within the password-protected pages of the site, use of students' full names is allowed and students may also be identified by full name in images.

Secure Transactions

EBI is committed to the privacy of all our donors and to those making any kind of transaction via The EBI website.  EBI takes precautions to protect your information.  When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Should you decide to make an online donation or purchase, you will be asked to provide billing and payment information, including your name, contact information and credit card details.  All of this information is encrypted using SSL, an industry-standard secure technology designed to prevent the theft or interception of the information you provide.  Billing and credit card payment information is used only to obtain payment from the appropriate credit card firm and to fulfill the donor's or purchaser's request and is not stored or otherwise retained by EBI after the transaction is complete.  

Although EBI takes appropriate measures to safeguard against the unauthorized disclosure of information, it cannot guarantee that the information it collects will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this policy.  If you feel that the School, or another third party, is not abiding by this Privacy Policy, please contact us immediately at so that we may endeavor to address your concerns.

Our web host InRESONANCE may place “cookies” on the browser of your device.  Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive.  Cookies may enhance the convenience and use of this site.  You may choose to decline cookies if your browser permits, but doing so may affect your ability to access or use certain features of this site.  

InRESONANCE may also utilize web beacons on our Websites. The use of cookies is an industry-standard, and they are currently used on most major websites.  It is possible to adjust your browser preferences to alert you when a cookie is sent to your hard drive, or to refuse cookies altogether.  However, this may significantly alter what you are able to see or access on EBI’s website.

Do Not Track Notice

EBI does not track its visitors over time and across third party websites for purposes of providing target advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) headers.  Third parties that have content on our website may set cookies on a user’s browser and obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited one of our specific pages from a certain IP address.  This enables them to tailor what they present to you.  Third parties cannot collect any other Personally Identifiable Information from our website unless users provide it to them directly.

EBI reserves the right to make revisions to this Privacy Policy at any time with or without notice.  Please refer to this page, as and when needed.  Any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information will be posted on this site.  Your use of the website following posting of changes to this policy will mean you accept those changes.
