Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Escuela Bilingüe Internacional! Not only are we devoted to inspiring our students to become motivated learners, we are dedicated to consciously building a diverse and vibrant community. Step One

Fill out our inquiry form  and schedule a tour.

Please complete our online Inquiry Form to schedule a tour and to allow us to learn more about you and your family. Our tours are designed to allow prospective families to experience of a typical day at EBI. We would love to meet you and show you our creative, diverse community and school. You will have the opportunity to see our faculty and students actively engaged in the classroom, and speak directly to some of our directors and learning specialists. Plus, you’ll see the International Baccalaureate in action!

Step Two

Submit a 2019-2020 admission application and supporting documentation.

  1. Create a User Account
    Go to our secure online admission form and you will be prompted to create a username and password. This allows you to make changes to your application whenever you would like before you submit it.

  2. Complete your Child’s Application and Upload Photo
    Fill in the required information and upload a recent photo of your child. Once you’ve finished the application, select the submit button.

  3. Application Fee
    Once your application has been submitted, you will be prompted to pay a non-refundable $75 application fee with a debit or credit card. Your application will not be processed until this fee has been paid.

  4. Confirmation
    After you have submitted your application and paid your application fee, you will receive an email from EBI confirming that they have been received. Our admissions team will then contact you to discuss your next steps. If you do not receive a confirmation email from us, please contact our Admissions Department at (510) 653-3324 ext 107.

  5. Submit a Teacher Recommendation Form
    After you have submitted your application and paid your application fee, you will receive an email from EBI confirming that they have been received.   6. Submit a Required School Transcripts
    For our 1st grade applicants, a copy of the most recent fall report card must be delivered, mailed or faxed to EBI. For our 2-8 grade applicants, all transcripts from the previous academic year and the most recent fall report card must be delivered, mailed or faxed to EBI.​​​​​​​

Step Three

Complete the assessment, family interview and student visit (if applicable).

Once your entire application is complete, our admissions team will contact you to schedule your child for an assessment and set up a an appointment for your parent interview. Our 1-2 grade applicants will also spend a morning at EBI, ad our 3-8 grade applicants will spend a full day at the school.
