Josh is a corporate venture capital investor focused on early-stage software and fintech startups that drive innovation for Fortune 500 financial services companies. Since 2013, he has managed 20 investments and served on over a dozen private company boards. He holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Michigan, where he earned both an MBA and an MS in Human-Computer Interaction.

Josh began his career in nonprofit management, leading AmeriCorps teams in St. Louis city schools and disaster recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina. He later worked to expand healthcare access in underserved communities through technology.

Josh and his partner, Kathleen, live in Oakland with their two daughters. Their eldest will begin Kindergarten at EBI in 2025, and their youngest will start PK in 2026. Josh loves the EBI community and its mission. He has served as class parent, EBIPA class parent coordinator, and parent ambassador, and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute where he can in the coming years.
