Sonia is currently the Director at a luxury jewelry brand where she’s spent her career building teams, developing talent, and creating strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Her passion is people development— recruiting them, coaching them, and figuring out how to help them do their best work — alongside a strong foundation in sales, fundraising, and business strategy. She brings all of that to her work on the Committee on Trustees, helping shape the pipeline of people who will carry EBI forward.

Sonia and her family happily make the commute from Orinda because they believe deeply in what EBI offers: a bilingual IB education that builds the kind of curious, adaptable thinkers kids will need in a world that keeps moving faster. A mom to a 5th and 4th grader, she’s been part of the EBI community for seven years — first cheering on EBIPA from the sidelines, then rolling up her sleeves on committee work, and for the past two years, serving on the Board itself. She feels lucky to be part of this community and is grateful for every chance to help it grow.
